  Tried the new grit cakes with green tomato gravy dish. It was different and very good. Yes, there are green tomatoes IN the white gravy, which gives it an interesting twang. I found it very enjoyable. My children ate the chicken tenders, which they usually just eat Mac and cheese everywhere they go, and raves about how good they were. We had good service and it was quite in the restaurant because it was 9pm. When we arrived. I was surprised to find that the restaurant is open until 11pm. The trip is almost worth it just for the country store because they have such cute items.
